Khabib Nurmagomedov Ready To Settle Bus Altercation With Conor McGregor In A UFC Cage

I'M Happy because ur visit in the my website with title Khabib Nurmagomedov Ready To Settle Bus Altercation With Conor McGregor In A UFC Cage. Happy reading

On October 6, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will finally step into the Octagon to settle their differences.

The Lightweight Championship bout will be the main event of UFC 229 - and it could be one of the promotion's most-watched fights in recent memory.

A PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

Of course, we all know why the pair will go head-to-head in what's become such a personal meeting.

Back in April, in the build-up to that month's PPV, McGregor shocked the world when he attacked a bus full of UFC fighters - targetting Khabib.

"The Eagle" had a run-in with one of Conor's close friends and training partners a couple of days earlier - and "Notorious" decided to take justice into his own hands.

Of course, from a legal and social perspective - it was a terrible move. But for UFC fans, it was one that just got them more and more invested in this super fight.

So in October, six months after that incident, the pair will finally step up and leave it all inside the cage.

And 23 months after his last fight in 2016, McGregor will look to electrify the UFC crowd once again.

Conor McGregor will be hoping to impress fans in his UFC return

COMEBACK FIGHT

The Irishman went on hiatus following his last appearance at UFC 205 - one in which he beat Eddie Alvarez.

Since then, he's met Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring - in what was one of the biggest fights of all time - and also took some time off to start a family.

Now though, he's back - and sports fans can't wait.

McGregor will have to train hard for his bout on October 6

Interestingly though, he's not the favourite in October's fight. At this stage, the bookies are backing Nurmagomedov to pick up the win and defend his belt.

Actually, it's not just the betting shops that have made the champ their favourite - as fellow lightweight Al Iaquinta is backing Khabib to make Conor 'quit'.

A BIG QUITTER?

"I think he could just get after him," 'Ragin Al' said of Nurmagomedov in a recent interview with MMAFighting.

Al Iaquinta thinks Khabib can make McGregor quit

"Get after him, keep the pressure on him. Conor, he’s quit before. He’s given up. Against Diaz, it gets a little later rounds.

"I think he’s a pretty fighter. If the fight is pretty and it’s going good for him... [Chad] Mendes took that fight on no notice.

"He had zero in the gas tank going into that fight. If it’s five rounds of that, I think Conor is finding a way out."

Khabib has been made favourite for the fight, but can McGregor hold him off?

It's certainly an interesting take from Al Iaquinta - but only time will tell if he, and everyone else that's made Nurmagomedov favourite, are right.
