MVP: Paul Daley kinda Sucks And The Bellator Tourney Doesnt Need Him

Iam Very thank because your visit in the my website with title MVP: Paul Daley kinda Sucks And The Bellator Tourney Doesnt Need Him. Happy reading

Michael Venom Page has admitted Paul Daley’s career has become ‘hard to watch’ after the Brit lost to Jon Fitch at Bellator 199.

Daley and Page enjoy a tense, bitter rivalry, but fans have been continually denied the chance to see the two Brits go toe-to-toe in the cage.

Page insists Daley is the one refusing the fight, and after watching his fellow welterweight get manhandled by Fitch, MVP believes his rival is almost ‘self-harming’.

‘I find it quite hilarious, but it feels like I’m watching a lot of self-harming,’ Page told

‘When I watched it, it was hard to watch. It seems very silly to me to be complaining about a wrestler wrestling him. There’s two things in that.

‘Bellator provide kickboxing bouts, which he’s done before, so if that’s the route he wanted to go down he should have stuck to the kickboxing shows.

‘On top of that he was bragging about having two contracts put in front of him. One of them was me for the London card, the card everyone is talking about.

‘One was Jon Fitch for this weekend just gone. He made the decision to pick the wrestler and then complain about the wrestler.

‘That’s all Jon Fitch has ever done in the last ten years. He could have picked the kickboxer, which is what he wanted to have in terms of style, and he could have had that in front of his own fans.

‘Just two weeks later after the Fitch fight was suppose to be. It doesn’t make any sense and it kind of says to me he’s worried about fighting me.’

Daley was beaten on points by Fitch and stunned on-lookers when he hit out at Bellator mid-fight.

As Fitch took Daley’s back, the 35-year-old lifted his head and started booing Bellator and Fitch.

Boring fight. Good win for Fitch. He’s great at what he does. I couldn’t do what I do best. Same story. Wrestler wins,…

Daley has asked Bellator to release him in the past and Page thinks it’s obvious Daley is attempting to force the MMA promotion to cut him.

‘It’s just self-harming. I feel like he just wants to get cut from Bellator and be able to say for the rest of his life what he could have done to me if we ever did meet in the cage,’ Page said.

‘It was hard to watch, regardless of our history. To see any fighter do that is hard to watch.

‘I genuinely feel there was a lot of jealously from the beginning. He heard who I was, we were in the same division and the fact we represent the same country.

‘There’s a lot of jealously from way back then and it’s got pent up. Now he’s self-imploding.

‘I’ve heard a few clips from interviews and it sounds like he just wants out. Good luck to him, I’ve got to focus on my career and what I need to do.’

Bellator 200 comes to London next Friday, tickets can be bought here.
